Evan Byrne
After a difficult 2019 in which I turned 70, lost some mates and family, and endured treatment/surgery for cancer, I have decided to give up blogging about Paradise. However the name piemontemio.com is too good to waste so I am passing it on to a good friend to use for his new Wine Tour business. His name is Evan Byrne who some readers may already know or have used when he was working for/with his now estranged wife. Evan has been here for many years and knows more about the wine business in general than anyone I know. He is English and also fluent in Italian. He has worked in retail in the UK, harvested in Australia, worked for producers here in all aspects of the business and latterly conducted tours. He knows the producers, their wines and methods and I don’t know a better source of information.
